Giant turnip from my garden!

My 2021 garden.

Flowers at the front of my house.

Claudia Schaerer & Fernand Daigle
The largest zucchini is 20” long. Fernand didn’t harvest the 2 largest zucchini since he wanted to collect their seeds. The 2 smaller ones at the back were discovered yesterday in the compost pile. We have a great crop of spaghetti and butternut squash this year too.

Laura Sarson
Emily Carr rose - one of my absolute favourites - she blooms non-stop from early spring till late fall. I love the contrast with the yellow maple leaves!

Laura Sarson
Took this pic last weekend - the red leaves are now disappearing and it's mostly yellows that are left.

Fall Asters

Autumn Joy Sedum

Laura Sarson
Dusty miller still going strong in my urns and containers.

Laura Sarson
Knockout rose still going strong. Thanks Rob DeWolfe for recommending these roses - I LOVE them!

Laura Sarson
Malva Zebrina still blooming well and down at the bottom is the last of the Jethro Tull coreopsis which has bloomed non stop since early June - I highly recommend this as one of the best repeat blooming perennials!

Laura Sarson
Why I love autumn!

Laura Sarson
One last campfire rose left still blooming!

Laura Sarson
Far East maiden grass is putting on its fall show - sadly the pictures never do it justice. It's a great ornamental grass.

Laura Sarson
This little primrose decided blooming last spring wasn't enough - it's decided to bloom again! You have to love these surprises!!!

Laura Sarson
Oops! I zoomed in a bit too much on this fall aster.

Laura Sarson
Another great surprise. Kniphofia bloomed well all summer and here it is putting out one more bloom before winter sets in.

Laura Sarson
The star of the fall gardens - rudbeckia just never quit!

Laura Sarson
This is the third bloom for this foxglove - it bloomed early spring - again mid summer - and blooming again now. That's what you call a determined perennial!! (and it's a misplaced one from a seed that blew in - I think it's showing off for all the foxglove in the beds where they "belong" since they've never bloomed 3 times!

Laura Sarson
Stokes aster - most blooms are fading but there's a few new ones still coming on.

Laura Sarson
Stokes aster again.

Laura Sarson
Toad lily - the last few left in bloom - most faded weeks ago so another nice surprise!

Laura Sarson
Who doesn't love birch trees!

Laura Sarson
This was a week ago - one good windstorm and the red maple is now bare!

Laura Sarson
Autumn glow!
